What is the H2E Partner for Change Program?

H2E is the trusted source of environmental solutions for the health care sector. Health care facilities and organizations can join the movement to green health care by becoming an H2E Partner for Change.

H2E Partners pledge to make changes in their operations and facilities to protect their communities’ health and the environment. Specifically, Partners pledge to work to eliminate mercury, reduce the use of other toxic chemicals, reduce waste, conserve resources, and implement environmental programs that are measurable and that make a difference. There is no cost to become a Partner.

Any organization working on health care environmental improvement can become an H2E Partner. Partner organizations include:

H2E helps Partners identify and share resources to improve compliance, go beyond compliance to achieve environmental excellence, reduce occupational exposures, save money, provide community benefit programs and receive positive press. Collaboration between health care facilities and the wide range of other Partner organizations helps build relationships, create change and shift markets! Specific Partner Program benefits include:

H2E Listserv and other communication tools

Partners are automatically added to the H2E Listserv, where they can share information with colleagues involved in similar work around the country. Partners also receive H2E’s monthly newsletter, StatGreen, which focuses on H2E Partners’ success stories.

Recognition for Becoming a Partner

New H2E Partners receive a Certificate of Participation to recognize their commitment to environmental excellence, and are included on H2E’s Current Partners webpage.

Introduction to H2E Webinar

New Partners may join one of our monthly Introduction to H2E webinars to learn about the many tools available through the website and gain insight into how to successfully implement practical solutions at the facility level or assist facilities in improving environmental performance.

H2E Subscription

While any H2E Partner can use the myriad of resources available on the website and participate in the listserv, an annual H2E Subscription offers access to a full year of information-packed webinars.
