Practice Greenhealth Info Exchange Listserv
You are welcome to join the Practice Greenhealth Info Exchange Listserv if you are working in health care and are currently engaged in pollution prevention, waste minimization, mercury reduction or other related programs. Using this Listserv is as simple as receiving email.
Subscribers must read and agree to follow the Practice Greenhealth Info Exchange Listserv Guidelines. The List Administrator reserves the right to remove people from the list who do not follow these guidelines. Once you are subscribed, you will receive a welcoming/confirmation email, which will contain the Listserv participation details and guidelines. Please keep the email for your records.
Note: Due to the limitations of our listserv service, posting messages in html text format garbles the messages received by our digest recipients. Please post messages to the listserv in plain text format to avoid this garbling of messages

While we appreciate the expertise that many vendors have to offer, Practice Greenhealth requests that companies and individuals refrain from advertising or soliciting on the Practice Greenhealth Listserv. If you can offer expertise, guidance, or information on given subjects, please do so, but do not offer this advice as an attempt to sell your own product or service. Any attempt to solicit customers may result in removal from the Practice Greenhealth Listserv. As a service to our members, Practice Greenhealth does have a Products and Services Directory in which vendors can directly list their offerings.
Configure Your Listserv Account
This Listserv is configured, by default, to send and receive each email as they are contributed to the list. If you are satisfied with the default configuration, you need take no further action. If you would like to change the account settings, please read below.
Obtain a Password – To View or Change Your Settings
- Enter your email address in the text entry box at the bottom of the page, labeled Did you forget your password?
- Click the Get Password button
Within a few minutes, you should receive an email that lists the current configuration of your Listserv account including your password. Use this password whenever you wish to log-in to your Listserv account.
How to Edit Your Member Settings
- Log-in to your account by entering your email address and password
- Click the Your Settings button. From there, you can change the following:
- Mail format—the default setting where you will receive emails as they are contributed
- Digest—one daily message with all the contributions for that day. (Practice Greenhealth comment: this isn’t as convenient as it sounds as you cannot follow discussions on a particular topic.)
- Mimedigest—one daily message with all the contributions for that day in MIME format. (Practice Greenhealth comment: if the digest is your preferred option and you are having trouble with garbled messages, try this setting.)
- Index—one daily message with only the subject lines for that day.
- See Your Messages (you have the option not to receive your own messages.)
- Acknowledgement (You have the option to receive an acknowledgement after each of your contributions.)
When finished, click the Save button.
Browse the Archives
All emails sent to the Listserv are sorted by date and saved in the archives. To browse Listserv archives:
- Click the Read Messages button
- You can search by keyword(s) or by date to find archived emails
